At Sunprofit, we are committed to fair, transparent, and compliant business practices. This page explains your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) and how we uphold them.
1. Your Right to Quality Products
In terms of the CPA, all goods purchased from Sunprofit must:
Be of good quality
Be safe and free from defects
Be durable and usable for a reasonable period
Match the description, images, and specifications provided
2. 6-Month Warranty (Your Legal Protection)
All products sold by Sunprofit include a 6-month implied warranty of quality.
If your item becomes defective within 6 months of delivery, you are entitled to:
A repair
A replacement
A full refund
👉 In line with the CPA, you may choose your preferred remedy.
3. If a Product is Repaired
If your item is repaired:
The repair carries an additional 3-month warranty
If the same issue occurs again within this period, you may request:
A replacement, or
A refund
4. Returns for Incorrect, Damaged or Missing Items
If you receive:
The wrong item
A damaged item
An item with missing parts
You are entitled to:
A replacement
A refund
5. Change-of-Mind Returns
While not required under the CPA, Sunprofit may allow returns if you change your mind, subject to our Returns Policy.
To qualify:
The item must be unused and in original packaging
All accessories and seals must be intact
6. When Returns May Not Be Accepted
A return may not be accepted if:
The item has been misused, damaged, or altered
The issue is due to normal wear and tear
The product was used outside its intended purpose
Instructions or care guidelines were not followed
7. Delivery Responsibility
Sunprofit remains responsible for your order until it is delivered to you.
If your order is damaged in transit, we will resolve it at no additional cost to you.
8. Refunds
Where a refund is approved:
It will be processed via your original payment method
Processing typically takes 3–5 business days (depending on your bank)
9. Fair and Transparent Pricing
We ensure that:
All prices are clearly displayed
You are not charged more than the advertised price
No hidden fees are applied without disclosure
10. Your Protection Against Unfair Practices
Under the CPA, you are protected against:
Misleading or deceptive marketing
Unfair contract terms
Hidden conditions or fees
